yea let's do that while we're at it. only people with the class that we have could ever accomplish so much all at once.

And there are very few people with that much class

we should have class meters. so that people who join the site know how much class we are packing and what they need to live up to

sooo true... man they need a new marketing agent so they can take their company to the next level. i think that's where we need to step in. let them know how classy it would be to have a thesaurus.

i think it's pretty obvious that she isnt going to be competing in 09. she will probably start training, but since she's a perfectionist, i doubt she will compete if she feels like everything isnt up to her standards.

Yeah i figure with DWTS and school and all that stuff it would be best to not compete unless there was a competition right at the end of the year.

Theres worlds in october but it would take Shawn a minimum of 6 months to get back into the shape she was and have her routines down enough to hope to medal. I know for me its generally about a years worth of work to get a form good enough to get 1st or 2nd.

Yeah, plus since she grew a lot it would probably take longer. I just hope she does come back, doesnt really matter when just that she does.

Well 2 inches isn't that much but I have no understanding of how height comes into gymnastics lol. I really hope she competes for the next 3 years seeing how those would pretty much be the last that we would see her competing. But i'm behind her no matter what she decides.

Well 2 inches for some one that was 4'9" at the start is a lot Same here, ill back up whatever she does but id love to see her keep competing.

Well i'm short myself being 5'6 but I don't see anything changing if I was to suddenly grow 2 inches, so i'm guessing that for Shawn it would either just change her balance or her dance moves or maybe even her tumbling, but it shouldn't be a big change.

Well nastia said when she grew she had to basically re-learn everything so thats what i was going off of. I dont know how much it would affect her personally.

Well look at Nastias build she has the lanky dancer type body while Shawn is a shorter stocky type. So it could be a big change for Shawn but Shawn shouldn't have as much to change since she should still be doing the powerful tumbling routines, but it all depends on these new rules that were implemented and on if this does cause a big change for Shawn.

Yeah, but i think the dancing show can actually help her with the graceful moves that she could combine with her power and just be unstoppable

Maybe, though seeing how Shawn uses her barefeet and not 3 inch heels, you never know what might happen. But I just don't see Shawn going for the power tumbler to more of a graceful dancer style or even being able to really add it to her normal routines...but we'll see after the American Cup what the new rules are. That will most likely be what changes Shawns routines.

I can see how DWTS could help her gymnastics but she has spent a long time out of the gym

Im not saying shes going to completely flop to one or the other i just think it might help a little bit. What exactly does the new code entail?

That, I have no clue of, thats why I want to see how the American Cup changes all the routines before I say anything else about Shawns routines.
