The horses and the coconuts is one of my favourite scenes. So easy to make and so brilliant

Has anyone heard the conversation between the pilot and air traffic control? He's so calm and acts like it's a routine flight. I did laugh when the air traffic controller asked what runway he wanted at the airport and he just says "er we're going to be in the Hudson"

Yeah I heard it just yesterday. I didn't even realize that he was that calm. I hope he knows that he's a real inspiration and heroic figure in people's eyes.

Yeah that was pretty cool, it would have been better if he'd done the coin toss

I'd probably fear the worst. It was bad enough when on one flight I was on and the pilot said "we're just struggling a little through the turbulence here, should be no problem" I was like we're all gonna die!!

Re: Plane crash in NY...
I'm pretty relaxed on planes. One time I panicked though was when it was in the middle of the night the pilot said, "We're having trouble finding the runways so we're just gonna circle here for a while." How can you not find a runway? Aren't they all lit up with lights? I've never understood that... but it was scary.

Re: Plane crash in NY...
my friend was on a flight and they were having problems with the landing gear. the flight staff got into their emergency positions and everything. my friend is pretty strong so they switched him with some pregnant lady who was sitting at an exit, so that he could help people get out. they ran him through what he'd need to do. thankfully in the end everything was fine. he was telling me about it and i could not believe it, i was scared for him even though he was telling me after the fact. now that's the story i think about every time i'm on a plane, which is not cool!
