yea just like kyle said - the book is good, you learn a lot about her. I just got it too and it is definitely worth buying if you are a big shawn fan

I bet the autograph versions of the book aren't personally signed by her. Can anyone who has the book already tell me if it explains anything about what kind of physical conditioning, dieting, etc Shawn goes there to be prepared for an event?

Yeah, I don't think she'd have the time to sign every book so it's probably a print. As for dieting, on her website it says this:

Q. What kinds of food do you eat as an elite gymnast?
A. I don't really follow any specific diet. I just eat very healthy, well balanced meals and try to stay away from sweets. A normal breakfast for me is yogurt and scrambled eggs, lunch might be a wrap or salad with some fruit, and for dinner I eat a lot of fish or chicken and fresh vegetables.

and

Q. What do you eat before competitions?
A. Before every competition I try to eat light so I don’t feel full and may have some chicken and fruit or maybe a little pasta. After the meet I’ll eat a filling meal with carbs and meat to help kind of heal and re-energize my muscles for the next day.

i wonder how many of the autographed books there are

It said limited edition so I would say a few hundred really

-there's nothing specific about her training, or diet, it is mostly pics and scrapbook looking. she does mention a few workout things she does at chow's, but not much

that's good that you guys can get a copy now. people should realize that there are many fans that live outside of the U.S that want a copy.

Yeah that's good, I mean I know Shawn is seen as an all-American girl but she has fans far and wide

o my goodness there is an amazing picture of shawn in her book. It is by far my favorite pic of all time of her. I have never seen it anywhere except for her book and I can't find it on the internet. It says courtesy Teen Vogue in the bottom corner. But wow...
