Anyone else seen "Stick it"?

It's a film about gymnastics, in which the female gymnasts rebel against stupid judges. Quite good really.

Nastia was in it, but Shawn wasn't, and I didn't recognise the names of any other gymnasts, although there were quite a few doubling for actresses.

I saw it on TV a few weeks back but it wasn't my kind of thing. Nastia was good in it though and gave a great bars routine

I heard they used a lot of college gymnasts in that movie

and the female lead was athletic and used to play so much soccer that one of her leg muscles in one leg is larger than in the other...

but Shawn would have been too young to be in the movie... Nastia looked really young in it as well...

Yeah, it was made in 2006, according to cable TV, so Shawn would only have been 14. Nasitia did look quite small compared to the other girls, who all looked like actresses rather than gymnasts. Even Alicia Sacramone has very slim hips, these girls didn't.

Nastia would have been, what? 16? Maybe 15? She had a speaking part too. Not much, but a few lines.

Interesting, anyway.

lol at the whole showing their bra straps thing at the end. that would never happen.

lol a lot of that film made no sense to me and was really unrealistic. I didn't like the main character either, I thought she was being rebellious just for the sake of it

i did not like the main character either. she annoyed me too much and i havent watched that movie in years. i went and saw it with a bunch of friends and we made fun of the bra scene for a while just cus it was so stupid hahaa

I've seen it on tv a couple times......I don't think it's horrible......it's not good, but i've seen worse.

I haven't seen it yet, but my freind jet told me it was on at the same time as the super bowl.

i don't care who's playing the super bowl (painfully i watched), no matter what you have to watch the super bowl, it's like a man law

So true! It wasn't that bad a game in the last quarter either

Stick It was the most ridiculous piece of film ever. Like man that girl that gets on the beam and starts listening to music, effing rebel. Nastia looked like she was fifteen and Shawn would of looked like she was nine if she was in it.
