Yeah. There is no way that's "English." It might be English, but our English is so different that I joke that I speak American. Not English. Lol

Don't sweat it, in a couple of days I'll post "translations", and say that I've done so in a thread in Discussion.
Keep in mind that most are written phonetically, ie: as they would be said, and that in South Yorkshire, where most of these originate, a lot of folk still use "thee, (often pronounced "thi"), "thy", and "thou", (pronounced "tha" or "thar"), depending on the phrase, for "you", especially to friends and family.
That might help one or two to get some of them.

how long did that take you to translate alcazar? and some of those words look nothing like what it's supposed to be. No offense to anyone that lives there, but does Yorkshire happen to have A LOT of drunks because i could understand that those words might be some incredible slurs.

Translate? LOL, I talk like that. It took longer by far to type and colour the answers, than to translate, tbh. I've known and used phrases like those all my life, but can write, and speak "good" English, even if I DO have a Northern accent. Does that make me bi-lingual? Tri- if you count the French?
No more drunks here than anywhere, but yes, loads of stuff is slurred together. Just a lazy way of speaking.
I had an English teacher who was an Oxford don, he once told us that we had the laziest type of speech patterns he'd ever heard
In some parts, the last consonant is "lost" off some words too, so, for example, the name "Mark", is pronounced "Mar", with the last K sort of swallowed, it's called a "glottal stop"
Try googling it

We, at least here, tend to slur things together sometimes, too, and just create a ton of slang and use words the way they're not normally used.
