Favorite picture of Shawn

I was just wondering what peoples favorites were, post a link here and say why you like it.

I don't have one favorite.. but I do like these two!




I like them because she looks so happy and so proud of herself. In the second one she looks so determined to make it.

lol I currently have 2536 favorite photos of Shawn on my computer (that's just from what I could find, because I know that I have even more). All of her photos are my favorite.

I have lots of favorites, but I like this classic one.




She makes it look so easy!

That first pic was taken last month at the Steeplechase Cancer Center. (October 2nd)
Shawn was there with Shannon Miller visting the cancer patients.

I was going to say "maybe they're fake" but they look pretty real to me.

lol , I think they're her real nails. I think she just likes her nails long. Me on the other hand can't stand hem long. It's partly because it looks weird on my hands

I really like this pic for some reason I think that scarf is sweet looking too.

I also like this pic because Shawn looks genuinely happy to sign an autograph (or a hand) for a fan.

Why is she crying?

It looks more like a couple pieces of glitter, to me anyways.

Actually... your right... it does look like glitter. But it also looks like she's so happy that she's crying... WHAT TO BELIEVE!

I'm thinking the above pic was taken after the all-around event..
Did you see some of the video interviews after the all-round medal ceremony where they kept hounding her with questions until she was about to start crying! She actually had tears in her eyes and started whimpering. I felt bad for her. They should have waited until much later to interview her. I'm sure it was a tramatic night for her and she definitely needed her privacy/quiet time

Of course BackFlip. She was going through an emotional defeat right then. She worked incredibly hard for the All-Around gold medal but she didn't win it and that must have taken its toll on her emotionally. Most of the time people just go and think things over for a little while after something that big but she had to be immediately swarmed over by over eager interviewers.
