Godfather's Graphics

These are just some quick things I've made of Shawn. Hope you people like them. (Some of them are a little big so I just posted the link.)


I was mainly trying to work with color on these signature/tags. These are just 2 of 53 different versions of them. I'm still not totally done with them yet.


I did this very quickly. Maybe a 10 minute job. I might go back and edit it up to make it look nicer.


This was from a while back. I was planning on retouching it up a lot but I still haven't gotten around to it.


My newest piece of art. I was mainly experimenting with C4D's and effect usage.

I have yet to take a lot of time to actually sit down and make an amazing piece of art of Shawn yet. School is rather difficult right now (*cough* *cough* my teachers are idiots [except for my math teacher] *cough* *cough*) and I can't seem to find the time. I am trying to make something special right now but I can't find the right resources I need.

These are AMAZING! They're great.. I can't get over how good some of these are! I work with photoshop a bit but I'm not near as good as you are.

what editing program do you use to make these?

I'm guessing he uses photoshop because there just isn't anything like it. GIMP is alright but not near as good as photoshop.

Yep, I use PS. I actually used to use GIMP but I didn't find it very user-friendly. I do know a ton of people who use programs such as MS Paint and InkScape and other programs to edit their work and create stuff. It's quite amazing what some people can actually do in MS Paint.

what PS software is it that you use? I looked up PS on the adobe site but there are a lot of different PS variants...hopefully you aren't using the $700 one lol.

I'm using PS CS3. I used to use CS2 but I thought it was about time to switch.

GIMP isn't very user friendly.. I have to use it because I can't afford photoshop lol. I don't do much art anymore.. one of the last things I did on photoshop was probably my best work to date. I'll post the good stuff up on the forum.

It's relatively easy (although they came out with CS4 already and I'm not sure how beginner friendly that is). I would make sure to get some beginner tutorials before trying to make some intense art on CS3 though. I actually have a ton of tutorials and resources if anyone wants some.

Thanks for the art comment and the birthday congrats.
I'm actually thinking about getting a tattoo now that I can. I'm not sure of what though.

Sweet! I'd get something that means a lot to you and that you won't regret in the long run. I'd like to get a tattoo but I have no idea what of. I'd have to think a while before getting it.

Same. I would get a tattoo of Shawn but it seems a little... well... I don't know weird. But you never know. I might actually get one of her.

If you do get a tattoo get it in a spot where you can cover it with clothing because I know that some interviewers for jobs don't like seeing tattoos on employees. I wouldn't get a tattoo of Shawn, but a tattoo of one of her quotes that she likes could work. I think I'm going to get CS3 because CS4 doesn't have anything too important in it to justify upgrading to, at least that's what I've read lol.

If CS4 doesn't have too many major updates your right in not buying it. I'm going to do a little research of my own to see if I should buy CS4. Usually it's not like Adobe to release a new program upgrade without much updated.

Godfather you said you had tutorials or something along those lines on how to use PS...send those my way please or post a link or something lol.
