it was tactless of them, but it's their job, so what are they suppose to do? i wish they had a little more heart with their questions, but i guess being pushy and trying to get controversial answers is part of the job.

Well they didnt sound like they were from america so maybe their english was off and they couldnt really portray their emotion well? idk..just a thought

it's just sad to see someone cry because they are disappointed, especially when they work so hard and come so close to their goal.

Then i'm glad were not talking about Shawn here seeing how her goal was just to make it to the Olympics. It was Nastia who was going after the gold in all around and why she performed so flawlessly.

I was replying to Kps post, I agree with how the reporters acted...they did the same thing to poor Alicia even though both times she was still really upset.

Well I guess it depends on who your a reporter for...celeb magazine types generally arn't nice people.

I was talking about reporters in general the nbc,abc and cbs people seem pretty nice and so do the local reporters but the big time ones seem to be really rude and inconsiderate people.

I never got what they find appealing about trying to ruin peoples' lives...just doesnt make sense.

I guess it gives them more publicity, atleast thats all that I can think of that would cause someone to be that mean.

sometimes the celebrity does something really inappropriate or rude that deserves the negative attention that comes from a show like tmz. but not shawn. all she did was represent our country to the best of her ability. nothing wrong with that!
