Recording, you can use a regular old camcorder or even some of the newer digital cameras have a video recorder feature... or if you have the right equipment to hook the guitar up to the computer you can do that. In terms of posting you can just host it as a youtube video and just put a title slide throughout the whole video with some text on it or something, or you can host at newgrounds if you want to share you music with a fairly large crowd and have people rate and comment on it (be warned that they are rather harsh there; some of my favorite music artists [that are from newgrounds] are sometimes rated very low on their songs), or you can even host it on Rapidshare or some other file sharing service and have it uploaded as a .zip or .rar or something.

I have some recording equipment from a few years back. It was cheap relatively speaking of course cus recording/production hardware is, on the whole, pretty expensive. There is a software application called Audacity that might work for you if you have some kind of microphone and the best part is it's free and you can download it off the internet. I've never recorded with it though, just used it for editing, sampling, and recording audio off the internet.

If you are looking for a quick and cheap solution you could just take a video and then change it to mp3 format using an internet tool called Zamzar http://zamzar.com/ . Then you could upload it to zshare and have people listen to it on the internet or download it.
