I guess everybody's gotta work hard, and you can't always do everything perfect. I'm not quite sure it's in the right thread though, I don't know where it should be .

It's not the being able to do things perfect, Nicole, did you look at the one that I said made me cry? Just awful.

Even the bit where the young gymnast lands a vault badly, you can SEE all the wind knocked out of her.............and her coach? Just turns away in disgust.

i actually had watched some of these before. it's crazy, because most people just watch gymnastics every four years and don't realized all the time and the pain that comes with gymnastics training. it looks really brutal and not fun at all

-first time I have ever seen her fall . Kinda funny though she went off the stage. Too bad those weren't my seats right there or I would have caught her. hahah

I had never seen her fall either. At least not at Chow's. She made a good recovery and just jumped back up there and the crowd were really good sports for cheering her on even though I bet she felt so awful! I'm just glad she wasn't hurt. She did such an amazing job when I saw her! Hahaha, when Jonathan Horton came out a bunch of girls were like, OMG! IT"S JONATHAN!!! So me and my friend decided that next time Shawn came out we'd be like, OMG! IT"S SHAWN JOHNSON!!! So when she came out, I forgot and my friend sounded like a little girl. Haha, so I promised next time. But next time he didn't scream so I sounded like a little girl and it was super quiet for some reason and she looked over in our direction, as if she was wondering where it came from. I was so stoked that she looked! ...I doubt she saw me though. Oh well. It was still an amazing evening!

I saw her fall off the beam at the show in Des Moines. Which she probably hated doing it there....but regardless it was kinda funny because she just turned it into part of her routine and started dancing around. Guess that's the good thing about it just being an exhibition.

Yes, the crowd was awesome for just cheering her on even though she fell.

Well I guess they knew that it wasn't a serious competition and once they saw she was alright then they would have been all for her

Yeah, she's just showing off and stuff not competing for anything. If she had gotten hurt, I would have died a little on the inside.

It did scare me for a second, but she has great reflexes to catch herself like that.

she fell during the team finals at worlds in 07 on the balance beam. it was the first time i saw her fall in a competition.

The first that I saw her fall was 2007 American Cup.

I've never seen her fall in competition but in videos of training. Closest I've seen her to falling in competition was at the Olympics when she stumbled out of the area on floor

2007 American cup, 2007 worlds during teams, and then 2008 American Cup when she was trying to stick her vault.

i didn't see the 2007 american cup. i guess i need to download it and watch it

I'm with Scrawney on this one. I hadn't ever seen her fall before, let alone fall of the stage.

Well that was a first for seeing her fall on a floor routine let alone off the stage, I think she fell off the beam twice during the tour.
