well we have all heard Shawn say that "things happen for a reason"... I think now that Ms. Redmond has got her entry in the Guinness World Book of Records, she can get on with other parts of her life now that the crash of the SUV that "terminated" the length of those nails, she can go on and live a more normal life now (and not have to worry about that record anymore).

she has been set free! think about all the things she can do again. for instance she could play basketball, which i'm sure was impossible to do with those nails. it will probably be easier to scratch an itch, open car doors, eat with a fork... jeez! how did she survive with those nails? they would just keep getting in the way! Shocked

hahaha you are killing me! she has a husband. i read that he has alzheimer's, poor thing. a wife with unusually long nails and a terrible disease. how unlucky can you be?

you guys (and girls) on this forum are great... I am just glad I found this site.... it does perk up my day to come on here and see what is going on... and contribute.

Hope I can go to some benefit thing Shawn is at and actually meet her one day and thank her for getting me to think about my dreams and re-setting some goals or dreams I had some time ago... I think this is part of her ever expanding appeal (that I heard Teri Johnson allude to in an interview once) ... Shawn on some level can connect to many of us and appeal to us or get us to see the best in all of us...

OK enough of this... I wonder if this is due to the wine I had with a very late dinner Wink
